Production Blog #9: Film Review
After I finished my Title, I had a friend who wasn't in my group watch it. I needed an outside opinion from someone who didn't edit it. This would help me with figuring out what the audience actually wants. I asked my friend to do it, and they said yes. While watching, I paid attention to how they analyzed it. After it ended, I asked for their thoughts. They said the theme was clear. I asked them what the theme was, and they were able to tell me. This let me know I did a good job of portraying it. However, there were a few things I could improve on in their eyes. They told me some moments felt too long. They also said to tighten up some of my transitions. They mentioned that some audio was louder than others. I am thankful they were honest, and it helped me a lot with my project improvement. The feedback from someone not in my group is a really valuable extra perspective. They allowed me to see minor improvements that I may not have seen without them. I am going to go back and edit them now. Getting feedback polished my title. And in the end, it helped me strengthen my final AICE Media Studies project.
