All About Andrew

 Hello, my name is Andrew Cohen, I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and I am a sophomore currently enrolled in Fort Lauderdale High School! I love to play sports, video games, and travel. Now, let's begin! 
My main goal in life is to play Division 1 football in College, and then make it on to the NFL. My position in football is a kicker, and I would even like to be a coach someday. However, if that plan does not work out, I want to pursue Law, specifically sports agent Law, so I can still be involved in the sports realm. I am a part of the Pre-Law magnet here at Fort Lauderdale High School and participate in class mock trials, which I love to do. One of my favorite movies I ever watched was Paid in Full, which I watched over the summer. The movie included a lot of great and valuable lessons, and it was overall just a great watch. I have always been known to have a kind heart and to look out for others. I was always the friend who made sure everybody was included and having a good time. I excel in school, and I have been in the gifted program since elementary school, and have always earned great grades. My dream college to play for is the University of Miami because I would love to cement myself in the history books at a college with such a rich history. I would also love to play for my childhood and hometown team and just make everyone from where I came from proud. Outside of school, I am very focused on football and being an athlete; I spend my days working out and training at the field instead of doing other things that can be a waste of time. I love watching motivational videos that keep me going and remind me about the journey I am on. I always knew I wanted to be a football player, but I just never knew where or how to start. But know that I did, I know I won't let the dream die. I still enjoy Law a lot, and studying Law is one of my favorite classes, other than European History. I was always a huge history nerd throughout my life and I can name and describe so many historical events. My favorite book is "Cant Hurt Me" by David Goggins or some history nonfiction books I've read in the past as a kid. Joining AICE Media Studies will help me become more creative and knowledgeable when it comes to the Media world!
