Production Blog #6: More Editing
Once my partner and I finished the new recording, we went to edit the Title again. The first thing I looked for was whether it reached the time limit. Once again, some extra things were cut short to fit in time. The first part of my editing was also done on my iPad. I used to put all the clips into one file to make things easier. I also noticed that some of the other clips were too long and had to be cut short. So I decided to take some things out. I cut out specific scenes that wasted clock time or just didn't make sense to be in the video. Such as some extra pan-outs. Once that was done, I transferred the clips to CapCut on my phone. When using CapCut it allowed me to add cool special effects to my Title. I added things like subtitles for the people who would want to read the words. I also increased the audio volume. After adding all of these, I really saw the Title coming together. However, I wasn't done; I still had a lot more to do. I went to re-edit the clips because CapCut is so good at its job. I even added some text but I removed it in the end. I came to the conclusion to shorten meaningless training parts of the Title. Then I finally added the background again. Now that I did all that, my Title was on track to submit
