Production Blog #7: Special Effects Editing

 For my AICE Media Studies Title, I wanted to make special effects to ensure my Title depicted the true struggles of an athlete. I wanted this to be an emotional and powerful experience. I decided to experiment with different visual effects. I chose darker tones to show the emotion. The brightness was lowered at times as well. I added a fade-in at the beginning. I ensured I was emphasizing struggle. Symbolizing obstaces and setbacks athletes faced in their day to day lifes was my goal here. There was dramatic background music. Text timed to the music rhythm. Intense training moments. All of this was used to create a deeper story. I ensured I had a cinematic look to it. Making sure my font style for subtitles was dramatic as well. I didn't make it overly complex to ensure I was able to clearly get my message out. I tested multiple versions before finally coming to a conclusion. Each change I made was to reflect the struggles. This was a really important process. Overall, this helped enhance my title a lot.

All About Andrew

 Hello, my name is Andrew Cohen, I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and I am a sophomore currently enrolled in Fort Lauderdale High School! I love to play sports, video games, and travel. Now, let's begin!  My main goal in life is to play Division 1 football in College, and then make it on to the NFL. My position in football is a kicker, and I would even like to be a coach someday. However, if that plan does not work out, I want to pursue Law, specifically sports agent Law, so I can still be involved in the sports realm.
