- Low angle shots
- Close up shots
- Wide shots 
- Tracking

COMMON CLAMPS IN THE GENRE: 
- Costumes that resemble a uniform or their gear
- Often dramatic lighting
- The acting can be emotional or intense for realism
- Makeup can consist of injuries or things of that nature
- Props usually consist of the equipment used for the sport 
- Setting depends on the sport, but for example a boxing movie can be a gym, a football movie can be on the football field, etc.

COMMON EDITING: 
- A common part of sports drama editing can be a montage that would capture a player practicing with music in the background 
- Enhanced visuals on emotional moments
- Fast paced scenes when in a game

COMMON SOUNDS: 
- A common sound could be the crowd spectating
- In a football movie, there could be a band playing
- Breathing in intense moments, body contact in football, shoes on the basketball court
